This morning I hustled to get everything done I had to do so that I could concentrate on replacing a broken pull-bar spring on my Model 19. I started at 1100 eastern and going by-the-book I disassembled the type carriage and replaced the spring. By 1155 I had it back together but was late to sign in to Autostart. Everything seemed fine at first, but I turned my back for a minute and came back to a pile of ribbon in the carriage. In my haste I had loaded the ribbon backwards. I guess it proves I am a better technician than operator. Thanks, Tom and company. 73,Kevin / KD8QGX
