[GreenKeys] For Sale: M28 Teletypes

Hello Bill. If you're referring to two signal feeds, you're correct so far as I know on the printers, be they ASR or KSR. However, on the patch panels, any independent reperforator such as the dome mounted unit in the 28ASR would have had its own labeled position on the TTY patch panels. At sea we sometimes had to patch incoming messages over to a reperforator for later relaying. Having two signal feeds on the 28ASR lets you maintain RTTY comms on the printer side and still copy off the incoming to tape. Think about your old radio panels and you'll remember.Regards distance from Central La., any trip can be made enjoyable. Near me in Pensacola is the Navy's National Air Museum and it is stunning. In New Orleans is the D-Day Museum and it is worth every penny to visit. You can have a good time if you want to. Thanks for the question.

Quite a nice collection of gear! Wish I were closer to it.
Got a question.....I remember in the Navy that we did not have any 28
printers that had two signal plugs. What is the second plug used for?
