That fact didn't leap into the gray matter without effort. I had to think
about it over a couple cups of coffee. Too much CRS going on these days to
bring back some of those notes!

OK. I've never worked with a WX machine, but now that you mention it, I do
vaguely remember that "Blank" was used. And I should have remembered that
the punch block controlled spacing. That should have been a clue!!
