Ok Gill follow this... it is indeed strange...
I am sending from aol address it posts to listsetv archive instantly
so aol address is fine for sending!.
on reception the aol address an receive it up to a day late... my
alternate address gets it QUICK!
Thus- the can see it is the way things are sent to aol address not
from the aol address QED

Tom had a problem with posting since he was in digest mode -- all digest
posts now bounce to me for approval so I can intercept problems with subject
lines and such (I check in once or twice a day). Unfortunately, Tom was
posting about the Sat pix which was a bit time-critical, and I did not see
his post until Sat morning. Tom is now on non-digest mode, which he was
testing, as a normal greenkeys post should show up within about a minute or so.
Ed, your AOL address is the problem, not greenkeys. AOL has always had
lots of problems, not just with latency, but with hacked address books and
robot-spam that looks like you are sending it (those sometimes get through to
the list, and it is usually a short message with a link to something
nasty).
I don't know why AOL gets your other stuff faster than greenkeys posts
(probably anti-spam stuff in mailman), but there is nothing that can be done
about it anyway -- I would dump AOL if I was you.
