I don't know if this will make the reflector, the "mailman" seems to be very
careful about what he publishes from me but as soon as I had acquired my
first machine I wanted that feature and all I could see were some unpowered
(by that time) strange sockets. So the first thing I did was find a very
small fluorescent lamp and mounted it to provide the desired illumination
and ambience. That was done in the '70's Next up was my first
28ASR,acquired only a few years ago. This time I chose to mount a lamp
socket (plenty of room) and I now use one of those "new" fluorescent "bulbs"
that you see in the big box stores. Since these are also available in
different colors I also change that aspect as the mood strikes me. But you
are certainly right. With the room lights reduced, it's nice to see some
light! Imagination is the only thing required to do it for 15's and 28's.
The model 14 cases are quite "tight" though.......
