Good point.

We used to have a navy group similar to this one.

It changed to a bulletin board or something like that and died overnight

A Passive Delivery System as used now is highly read. If it is made into a
Pro Active format, the participation level will drop severely.

Many read everything and comment once in a while, to the group or privately.

If I have to go somewhere else to read all the comments, I am sure I
will...once in a while..
