[GreenKeys] [FWD: ] a model 15 autoanswer drum?

I just stopped to see a friend today (before I got this email) who was a
Teletype repairman and he mentioned that at one time they got a bunch of
answer-back assemblies in and they had to install them on M15s. The
assemblies came from Lorenz, who had a license to manufacture M15s in
Europe. Lortenz then added a lot of options (like tape perf and reader)
to the basic M15. Apparently Lorenz had added the answer-back, which
would work on standard Teletype Corp M15s. Answer-back was required on
Telex machines.

Have fun,

Duncan
