I suspect there are two marketplaces:

1) The Uninformed, who think they're selling the "Last One In The World" 
and people who think they are buying the same.
2) The Cognoscenti, who are trying to figure out if they can meet 
enroute to Dayton for a cheap hand-off, and trade some parts.

I corresponded with an eBay seller who posted a Model 19 for thousands 
of dollars not long ago, and suggested that they "brace [themselves] for 
the possibility that it won't sell at any price". It went for $100 in 
FL, and I wrote again to congratulate them on breaking into 
'triple-digits'.  The person was very dispirited that it wasn't worth 
much...thought they'd hit a rare gold-mine.

That said it's apparent 33's are in a class by themselves, having had a 
'second-career' as computer terminals, rather than simply point-to-point 
terminals.
