This is interesting..
Most of you probably aren't aware of it, but I run a web site called Keep
America At Work.
I'm trying to find a way to do something similar to hamnation except with
economic news that the media is not telling.
In the back of my mind I've got a vision of walking through a room with
model 28's tearing off messages kind of similar to the scenes in Good
Morning Vietnam.
Obviously I'm also interested in RTTY broadcasts for the ham side of me, BUT
I've been wondering how to create my own teletype broadcasts where I can get
"news" hot off the press so to speak.
Looking at this page makes me think this will do it.

I just released "baudotrss", version 2.7. See
https://sourceforge.net/projects/baudotrss/
This is a Python program for driving Baudot teletypes. It will
display RSS feeds (Reuters, AP, even Facebook and Twitter),
send and receive SMS messages from a Google Voice account, and
prints weather reports. Tested with model 14 and 15 machines.
Most useful for machines with a keyboard, but can be used for
RO machines.
Changes in 2.7:
- Now works with both Python 2.6 and Python 2.7. The previous
release broke Python 2.6 compatibility.
- The ZIP file now contains the "configdefault.cfg" file which
presets most of the parameters needed.
- For RO machines, if you wire a button on the input side to
generate a BREAK, sending a BREAK will reprint all news from
the beginning of the feed. So, in museum configurations, you
can provide a "push to start" button. Otherwise, it prints
all available news when the program starts, then waits for the
RSS feeds to provide new info.
