Hello Rob,

In terms of the oil question, here's a link to a very comprehensive
post regarding that topic that was made at the end of last month:
http://mailman.qth.net/pipermail/greenkeys/2012-August/023701.html
Though I'm sure many, many more suggestions will appear quite shortly.

In terms of tests to be made prior to applying power; I seem to recall
-- though I'm definitely not an expert -- that one good test was to
turn the motor by hand, and see if it's sticking/binding, you don't
want to trash the gear train. Better suggestions will follow.

Here's a link to a small wealth of the Model 32 & Model 33 documents.
Bulletins 310B Volume 1 and 310B Volume 2 are what you will most
definitely want to take a look at. 310B Volume 1 being the basic
description/use, technical manual, installation manual, lubrication
manual and disassembly/reassembly book; 310B Volume 2 being the
adjustments manual. If I remember correctly.

Cheers, and welcome to GreenKeys;
Christian
