Thanks David, I am always looking for new ways to keep my friends and

How to make a moebius strip out of Teletype(setter) tape.
I'm sure that this trick must have made the rounds of the TTY community at
about the same time.

This is an article that appeared in "Shop Talk" in the 1960s, a publication
of Star Parts, Inc. (Star Parts was the largest third-party maker of
compatible parts for Linotype and Intertype linecasting machines. They
later developed their own TTS-compatible hardware and did quite bit of work
on their own tape automation systems for linecasting.)

.pdf

Grab a copy of this PDF if you want it. I'll be putting a bunch of the Star
"Shop Talks" online at some point, but for now this PDF is just in temp
space.
Or a different scan, at lower resolution but more reasonable file size, is
already on line on Bill Spurling's "linotype.org" site:
http://www.linotype.org/onlinedocs.html
You want Shop Talk Vol. 9, No. 2.

Regards,
David M.
