we are looking for the earlier series that had the separate keyboad
and the separate video driver box for the separate CRT monitor.
some of these were used in Deaf communication scenarios .. How may? we do
not know but these pieces from the 1972 era appeared mention if
some of the Deaf literature.

I wrote HAL about this but did not get a reply... I was hoping they
would have some info...

ok got a 1972 HAL catalog. the 4 pieces are...
1- monitor only $140 or combo monitor/TV $160
2 - modem like a phonetype or essco $100 to $240 ( not form HAL catalog)
3 -HAL Baudot electronic keyboard RKB-1 - $275
4 -Video display system RVD-1002 - $525 (converts signal to visual on
screen)
this is in theory what might have been mentioned....

any input or comment!??! and... of course we are probably looking to
get some of this equip for the display.

many thanks ed Sharpe archivist for smecc
