These  come in basical two sizes (If I remember right) 0.062"
and 0.093" pins and  sockets.

one takes a  computer type  power cord  but the other
takes a round  pin   three pin guy.. and I  wonder if I have
a  match?

The "computer" power cord is the (now) standard  IEEC
type.
The other was prevalent during the '50's and '60s and
was  the forerunner of the IEEC type. Commonly called 
the "Old Hewlett Packard  power  cord."
