While we're on the subject of high end Teletype accessories,
I always use a special non-conductive teletype paper roll on
my Model 15s. The typebar image is much clearer and better
aligned when the actions of the type bar bail and return
springs are not distorted by eddy currents that are set up
in the paper when it's in close proximity to the selector
magnets and motor. A good quality anti-static ribbon is
also a must for the best copy.
