And to make it even more comical/nonsensical,  Nassau was the metals 
recycling arm of Western Electric.
So the Audiophools are buying a relatively impure alloy at that.

The way they pontificate over low oxygen copper, I would think that a tinge 
of nickel in the solder would drive them to mania!
