Difficult to know what to suggest, Eugene. Bletchley Park is, as I
expect you've found out, open daily.

The National Museum of Computing on the same site is only open Thursday
and Saturday afternoons

The other site I can think of is Amberley Working Museum
<http://www.amberleymuseum.co.uk/>
which is sadly closed for the winter.

Alexandra Palace in North London is the birthplace of the world’s first
regular high-definition public television broadcast. You can view it
from outside, but the original BBC studio can only be visited by
appointment. (I was there earlier this year and took some pictures.)

The Science Museum in South Kensington does not have much communications
equipment on display. They will be opening a new communications gallery
in 2014 I believe.

Other BBC sites in London are Citibank House at 336 The Strand, which
used to be Marconi House, where the first broadcast transmitter was
located, call sign 2LO. Its 90th anniversary was last week. The BBC
later moved to Savoy Hill, at the back of the Savoy Hotel in what is now
part of the IET London Offices.
