That Model 19 in Port Angeles, WA  is in very good cosmetic 
condition.

It is a former Western Union item that in its day received 
reasonable care, but it has been sitting for many years and inasmuch 
as it was lubricated with KS-7470 and KS-7471 material, it will have 
to be broken down pretty thoroughly. You can turn it over by hand 
but it is extremely stiff going.

The cover and table are in good shape, as is the TD. The glass is 
missing.

The small tool box with it is loaded with good condition teletype 
tools, and is about chock full.

John states that the seller has a sort of iffy reputation, and after 
a couple of phone conversations with him, a beating with a rubber 
hose would be a welcome event. Says he was told it was worth at 
least 500 dollars, and he would not budge at that time.

I would pay about 250 for it, but there is a lot of cleaning of case 
hardened grease to do.

Good luck to the lucky bidder. It can be made to be very nice, but 
be damned sure you know how to pull and do a complete mainshaft 
overhaul. The motor is  also quite gummy.
