I too  recently have  gotten some   Dovetrons.. 
back in the  late  70s  I   would SWL   with  TTY and  had a 14 ( and 
eventually  a  28) and   a home made  tu  that has a  odd bar   type magic eye  
tube (  anyone  got the article for this?  i  would like to recreate) .... 
used to see the Dovetron stuff in magazines   and drool!  definitely the   
Cadillac of  the  herd
