Hi All,

I have been gone for a while as life has been quite busy for me of late. However, things are getting back to a reasonable pace, and I am again able to get back into my TTY / RAD science hobbies.

Since the last time that I have been here, I have acquired a really nice, 1950s-early 1960s radio rack complete with lockable doors on front and back. It looks to be a Naval unit, but I could be mistaken. It is over six feet tall, and the only thing that I have done to it to modify it (other than pressure washing decades of filth off of it) is to install a 110v fan on the top, in an already existing hole.

I have also recapped a beautiful old TU, a TTL-2 that the design was published in 1969 or thereabouts. I have no clue who built it, but I have included photos of it as attachments. It looks as if it were built by the Western Electric prototype shop. If anyone knows who built this particular unit, please let me know so I can document it. If nothing else, I will donate it to the ARRL museum along with a history of it. There are no identifying marks except on the PC board, it has a "Eg TTL-2" on the copper side. If I can get this working, I will mount it in the above mentioned rack and use it.

It is good to be back on this reflector!

Best to all,

Joe
