Western Union sometimes used tape perforators and readers made by 
Teletype, but also had some of their own design.  One keyboard perforator
in particular is built on the keyboard of a Teletype Model 14, but the
perforator mechanism is W.U.s own design.  Teletype keyboard perforators
tend to be powered by electromagnets; W.U. tend to be powered by motors.
