re: Don't use Rich Text or HTML formats as they aren't accepted. you may
want to code in something that will strip the extra baggage off... then
if by mistake, and we know this will happen, some one sends rtf or html
it cleans it.... just like a listserve does.

Several days ago we announced the release of instructions on how to send
bulletins to ITTY, NATIONAL or AUTOSTART using your standard emailer
without
needing any advanced knowledge on how to configure it.

Simply compose your bulletin for ITTY, NATIONAL or AUTOSTART using your
favorite mailer. Please make sure that you use the TEXT format. Don't use
Rich Text or HTML formats as they aren't accepted. A mail forwarding
service
has been added to RTTY.COM which looks at the "Subject" line for a code to
filter out undesirable spam. The codes for sending to ITTY, NATIONAL or
AUTOSTART via any standard email client are:

code email address
--------------------------
ADP1A1 itty at rtty.com
BDP1A1 national at rtty.com
CDP1A1 autostart at rtty.com

The code must be included in the subject of the message. The code is
filtered out before being forwarded for transmission, so don't forget to
include a descriptive subject/title.

Now there are three ways to send bulletins to the internet teletype server.
Can it get any easier?
