[GreenKeys] What the heck printer is this?

Derek,

Yes, its a WU model 100 series, manufactured by Underwood Typewriter Company for Western Union, I believe.  Greenkeys guys correct me if I am wrong about Underwood.  

The platen moves instead of the carriage and it has two sets of keyboard contacts, both to get around some Teletype patents.
