Larry the WARC ( World Administrative Radio Conference) bands are 30,17 and 12 meters.
Amateurs gained them in the 80's and for the most part they're underutilized.
Contesting
is NOT permitted on these bands and a good place to start some HM activity. Why not
set a meeting place, NOT A NET, where Greenkeyers can drop in and just say howdy
or run a roundtable? Of course you'll have the glass TTY ops in, not all of us have
or want the machines anymore.....I ran out of space. 30m is open to somewhere 24/7
and might be a good choice.
