Shipping is high because it includes a gray, heavy wooden case 
(apparently for an electronic signal generator that is not part of the 
auction).  The case does not fit the M14 by any stretch.  I inquired of 
the seller whether they'd sell and ship w/o the case.  Shipping without 
the wooden gray case was quoted to me as $85, TX to MA.  As I write, 
there is a single bid on the item..if it's somebody on the list, I'd 
suggest insisting that they not use the gray case to ship it in...it 
would arrive broken up.
