I don't know what you're trying to send, but did you try putting 
the file(s) in a ZIP, or use other compression?  

Depending on the data type, that may be enough to let it pass 
through email. Pure text files compress WAY down.  Pics don't 
compress well as they're already compressed, but they can 
often be sent separately.

Putting them in a ZIP also has the advantage of giving you 
some error detection for insuring it comes through transmission OK.
