[GreenKeys] ASR33 autostart

If anyone has one of these for sale, I'd be interested (for a M28). Also, could it be used to awaken two machines (28KSR and ASR)? Or one per machine? I could imagine a device that a) plugs into the 120VAC house power, then a TTY plugs into it. Also it has a connector for loop-in and loop-out. Is this what this device is like? IF so, could one put a small power strip on the 120VAC output to run two machines?

You need a box commonly used in the days of yore called an "Idle Line Motor Control". Pulse Com was one manufacturer that comes to mind, but there were many otjhers.

It simply monitors a current loop for actiivity, and after sensing none for a predetermined amount of time, shuts off power to the machine.

As soon as it senses even the slightest keying on the loop, it turns on the motor and keeps it running until the next idle period exceeds the setting programmed into it, and poof, it shuts the motor off again.

I have two or three of them around here somewhere, and it's almost a certainty that collectors of "stuff" like Jack Hart or Don House probably have some sequestered somewhere in their massive piles of "Stuff".

I'll look around here today.
