[GreenKeys] Fw: Building a KSR using today's technology?

I'm looking for something that doesn't use a PC (Windows or Linux), but acts as a sort of hardware hub for I/O ports (RS232) to communicate with each other. The devices would be a keyboard, printer and a TU.

Thanks,

Is it possible to build a KSR unit using today's technology? Example, using a serial (RS232) connected impact printer and a keyboard (PS2 type?) and some sort of blackbox interface. Just wondering.
