I suspect people see an impressive Model 19 and think "Wow...$1000 easy 
on eBay" and they don't bother or know how to research the market.

In order to rationalize the market, if anyone wishes to dicker with the

"280831377454" into eBay's search engine.  This will bring up the 
listing for the last *-sold-* Model 19 on eBay: *$100*.
