    I have a model 15 with LF on CR and auto CR at end of line.
It appears to be completely unmodified.
You still lose one or two characters because the typing
continues during the carriage return, but the machine won't
jam at the right margin.

    (I normally drive the machine with software that handles
end of line delay and word wrap, so the mechanical auto CR
is just a backup.)
