Thank you for the update Doug,
I have hopes of getting all of the parts of my 12 by making a trip to
California sometime this year.
The trick will be finding the table which is stored somewhere at the
SDSU Library.
Keep us updated on any progress.

Don, K9TTY

More or less. There is a comment in an early RTTY publication, might've
been the one by Wayne Green, that characterizes the Model 12 as sounding
like a cement mixer when it is running and I would agree with that.

My Model 12 is unfortunately still not completely operational. I had it
running once back when I first got it in the early 90s when I lashed
it all
up on the kitchen table with every clip lead I own. It was put aside
for
the next ten years or so until I bought a house big house for all my
"toys"
and I could finally put the pieces all together on the M.12 table. The
previous owner had had it wired into a tube keyer which I didn't
have. I
started to rebuild/rewire the table but so far haven't been able to
get the
thing to print correctly. I suspect there are contact/alignment
problems
with the big interconnecting jacks on the table, but I have not been
able
to devote a lot of attention to it at any one time given all the other
tasks and responsibilities I have going on. It is definitely not
forgotten, however!

Doug, KA2WFT
