In the E-bay pictures mentioned below, there are two grey TT-4As.
Initially I thought that an individual had repainted them to match the
TT-119, but the bases are painted grey also. Then I noticed that the
bases are not standard TT-4 bases. The TT-4 came with a waterproof
cover and the base had hooks for the cover to hook onto. These grey
bases have no cover hooks and no hooks to lash it to a backpack. (The
TT-4 was the major component of the AN/PGC-1 = Portable Teletypewriter
Communications.)
Anyone ever seen this configuration of a TT-4 before??
