The TTY part of SIGNIN seems to be based on the Teletype Corp M31, aka
TT-30. The TT-30 was part of the AN/AGA-1, which was an AFSK RATT/RTTY
adaptor. The AGA-1 just fed audio tones into ANY radio, so no FSK
converter was necessary. (Of course for HF, it probably didn't work as
well at a true FSK system would have.)

The AGA-1 consisted of the TT-30 TTY and a "TT-31" AFSK converter. I
don't know of any pictures exist of the TT-31, so would be hard to
identify if it was being used with the SIGNIN.
