What I have observed in my own collection is that all 3 of the RA-87s have a two prong power plug and 3 out of 4 BE-77 line units have the same thing. The one odd ball BE-77 has a crows foot and I feel this is a civilian modification. The reason I feel that way is because the non-tactical machines mostly seem to use commercial power supplies that have crow foot plugs for the built in power strips (on XRT tables). The tactical equipment all have the 2 prong plugs (for use with AC and DC generators) and I have not found a twist lock plug on any of them (BD-100, BE-77,TG-7,RA-87,RA-43 etc). The plugs on my line units have a bent back "spring tabs" that lock when plugged in, and you have to "twist" the plug to unlock it. The manuals also say (on the BE-77A) flip the meter switch to voltage and make sure the needle swings to the right. If not, reverse the plug. A friend of mine just recently gave me a box of 2 prong twist locks (20AMP, 250V) and they are just a hair too big to work. Maybe the 15AMP 125V ones are smaller? Check your application, I suppose. If anyone needs pictures, let me know. KevinKD8GX
