Thanks to the two Greenkeyers who correctly,  and remotely, diagnosed my M28 Line Printer problem as a missing spring in the selecting mechanism.  It was not easy to get the replacement spring back into place.  But now all is good and I'm ready for more pictures this weekend!

Hi to all,

My Model 28 KSR has been taking a beating with the RTTY Art that has been coming across ITTY Autostart as well as some work I have been doing locally. 

This afternoon, my LP developed a problem which I've been able to diagnose as an intermittent gain and loss of the 4th pulse.  So it looks like there is an internal bind in there. 

What is the traditional troubleshoot process here?  I haven't been deeply inside an LP in many many years, relying on preventive maintenance to keep these beautiful machines running smoothly.
