[GreenKeys] Model 14 spacer mechanism problem diagnosed

I finally figured out why one of my Model 14 machines
has problems with the paper advance mechanism. This took me
several days to figure out, and I had to photograph a good
machine and compare to find the problem. Here are the
pictures:

The Spacer Operating Lever Spring is missing. The
Spacer Feed Pawl Spring, which applies some force
in the same direction, provides almost enough
force for the mechanism to work, but not enough
for it to work reliably.

Now I just need to find a spring comparable to
Teletype Part Number 75689, Spring. I have a field
spares kit for Model 15 machines, but it doesn't have
that part. But it's an ordinary coil spring; once
I get the dimensions measured I should be able to
find something.

Any advice on replacing that part? Access to the
spacer area is difficult, because it's behind
the typebars. I have a spring hook
and forceps, and may need right angled forceps
to get in there. Or is there some easier approach?
Maybe through that hole in the bottom plate which
seems to have no other purpose?

(Incidentally, is there anyone who is particularly
interested in the AT&T Model 14 tape printer variant,
built for 3/8" paper tape? I have one of those,
and three WU 2B-type units built for 5/16" tape.
The AT&T unit has the polar relay and extra
switching stuff of an AT&T unit, which I don't need.
If someone wants the thing, please let me know.)
