[GreenKeys] Model 14 selector magnet wiring

Well, now, it depends.

If you have a pulling magnet selector, which means cylindrical coils
usually wrapped in black stuff, they are about 100 ohms each and
are used in series on a 60ma circuit.

If you have a holding magnet selector, which means more rectangular
coils usually wrapped in olive green or clear stuff, they are meant
to be used in parallel for 60ma and in series for 20ma.

I've also seen a decal on some Army machines saying they have coils
that can be wired in series or in parallel, and the picture on the
decal looks like cylindrical coils. And it says the resistance of
each coil is something like 1000 ohms. I've never seen a machine
with coils like that in it, even though it may have had the decal
on the cover.

There's also mention in the Teletypewriters for the Deaf manual
of some Model 15 machines from Western Union that have low resistance
coils, perhaps for use with a selector magnet driver of the Model 32/33/35
type. But I haven't encountered those myself.
