George Hutchison is working on a way to make these print hammers
out of Delrin. Depending on where the hammers were stored some
of the hammers are still able to be used as the hammers were used
on M28, 35, and 37 machines.
If I get out to San Diego next year I hope to retrieve a package of
the hammers from the old TTY Shop parts cabinet. I also has a friend
that visits the area on a regular basis... if I can get clearance from
the university for him, he may be able to bring back my set of tools
and parts that will be valuable to us all. Actually I would like to get
the whole parts cabinet back... We will see...
Best,
Don

Hi,
Is anyone looking at making the hammer for the 28 typing reperf?
Paul Cembura at R.T.T.Y. electronics doesn't have any as the last one he
had was decomposed.
I tried to use some plastic tubing on the end of the arm, but it was not
thick enough to hit the type drum.
I am restoring a 28ASR and I also have a 28 standalone reperf.
Thanks
Al
