No Ron,

As far as I am aware there are no shore strength specs available.
The only properly made print hammer was done in Canada
but I no longer can find the example Dave sent me.
I put it in such a safe place... Have you ever done that?

George is probably right in that there are modern materials that might
work.
I am hoping to get a good recommendation from Mercer with the sample
that Wayne Durkee sent me.
