Well, I was, like, the last one on the list when someone bid
on a pallet of them a few years back - so I got what was left.

My HAL ST-6 out performs it, and it drifts more than a
Heath VF-1 when turned-on. I got tired of playing with the
band knobs - so now I just leave it on 24x7.

I use it mostly to send the weather and METAR reports from my
computer to my ST-6 which drives the 28s. It also is used to
copy ITTY and KSM on Saturdays.

I imagine that a new one with all the bells and whistles would
be really nice to have.
