[GreenKeys] Tape Reader Problem Teletype Model 28 ASR

A basic 28ASR provides 110VAC to the TD magnets through the
"C" strip in the rear. There are no relays in the basic configuration.
If you have a wiring diagram, trace the voltage to the TD (carefully).
Of course, if you do not have a "basic" machine, all bets are off!

Hi Johnathan, I may be wrong but if I remember right that relay was
operated
thru the stunt box polling contacts, for that station. It would be in
the
run position, waiting for the polling code.
If this is wrong, I hope somebody will correct me, because my memory
is not
that great anymore.
