[GreenKeys] The BEST TU?

So far, it sounds like they were all pretty good... everybody probably prefers
the one they put the most sweat into.  I built a pretty decent TT/L2 from
schematics given to me from Keith Petersen way back when.. of course I don't
have it any more, but I remember it sure worked good.  I think I still have the
schematics somewhere.  I'll bet the Frederick units were really good.  I was
friends with Vic Poor's young protege whose name I don't remember but who was on
the 80m autostart net and Frederick was busy doing a lot of work on this
stuff... they licensed the DTC circuit from whoever it was that invented it..
on the net some of us made crystal controlled receivers from prototype receiver
boards given to us by Frederick that were of course drift free.  Lots of
learning and lots of fun.

I've got a Dovetron here.  One day (when?)  I'll get it all fired up.  It looks
like a very complicated but thought out design and I bet it works very well.

Subject: [GreenKeys] The BEST TU?

Gentlemen:

I would like opinions on what was technically the BEST TU ever designed - and
on what basis the opinion is given.  TT/L-2?  ST-6?  Frederick?  Dovetron?
