Don, this is absolutely the best posting you've had in months!   I suppose I
had a copy at one time but it has disappeared.   For anyone with a 19 who
wants to get it working this is all he needs except for Eric's board, a
Triad N48X, a rectifier, capacitor, adjustable resistor and, of course, the
component that seems to be often missing today, the soldering iron.   In a
couple of hours you can have a working RTTY system.   And you don't have to
worry about paint, grease, oil or selenium rectifiers.   I sure hope people
convert those rectifiers to solar cells and don't simply discard them!  I
seem to recall powering a radio from selenium "cells" back in 1955.

And, don't worry, "our" 19 manual is still sitting safely a foot from my
left knee.
