Please find herein below a conversation I instigated regarding refurbishing of a Teletype 33ASR machine. I am interested in being able to use it, if possible, with a computer to print out communications. Is this possible? In any case, I am interested in refurbishing it.
Thank you in advance for your response.
Kind regards,
Judi Gerhardt

That's a Model 33ASR Teletype, not old enough to be an antique.
It's from the 1960s or 1970s. I'm only interested in pre-WWII machines.

Try Greenkeys Digest. ("greenkeys at mailman.qth.net") Someone there may be interested. Also try "http://www.vintage-computer.com/".
There are people interested in the later machines.

What do you want it to do? Actual Telex service is still available from Easylink, if you really want it.
