Thank you for the pictures, the radio room was a treat!

I was a 2nd Class  Radioman on the USS Intrepid in 1969-1970.  I took my Novice 
test aboard the ship and operated MM/2 from the ship for about 6 months.

Some of the stuff in the pictures I could  have even touched.  I learned CW on 
the R390's.

I just retired from Boeing last week and one of the Bucket List items is to go 
to NYC and see the Intrepid.

Took the family to see the intrepid on Sunday. Hadn't been there in several
years, before the latest renovation.  We visited the Growler, a 60's era
submarine and also the intrepid. Lots of photos of radios, teletypes,
radars, sonars, and floating and flying hardware.
