[GreenKeys] Model 28 on Ebay

I was not really considering this machine until I discovered it had the 3
speed gearshift.
I originally had asked the seller is the cover was OK since it looked a
little cockeyed.
The seller told me the cover is fine and it closes and latches properly.
This is only 170 miles from my home, so if no one else from the list lays
claim to it,
I just may put in a bid to keep it out of the local landfill.
Cheers,

Jack certainly has the good eyes. I looked at that machine and
missed the fact that it had a 3 speed gearshift. I should have
noticed that the keyboard connector of this Mk III keyboard was
parallel with the side of the keyboard rather than in its normal
orientation of parallel with the back edge. That is the tip-off
that the keyboard has a 3 speed metal gearshift. Plus, of course,
the fact that you can just make out the gearshift's lever. It is
a very nice table top KSR with a GA finish. It has a WU electrical
service unit with a Cinch plug coming from the left side of the
typing unit. Does anyone know what that cable handled? I remember
TWX machines that had a Cinch plug coming off of the right side of
the typing unit. That cable handled the answer-back contacts in
the stunt box and plugged into a module in the LESU.
I hope that someone on the list picks up this machine. Way too far
for me.
