[GreenKeys] The answers you get over a simple request! !

Speaking of 'empty' houses...

My current living situation is 'storage impaired'. I have a 10x12 tin can shed that I keep my garden tools and less precious items in, the rest goes into a rented storage unit.

When driving around town and peering into other's open garage doors (oh dear), I'm always sickened by the deplorable under-utilization of garage space that I see. I often see a large space reserved for a car (they're weatherproof, they don't belong in garages!), and a few domestic items stacked on a rickety plastic shelf in the corner. I dream of the crap (GEMS!) I could fill that space with. If I aggregated all of my stuff into one place, I could surely fill at least half of a one car garage right away!

I was most offended by a garage in the 'fancy' part of town that I saw while 'garage sale-ing'. On the side of the garage, there was a miniature garage door, sized perfectly for a golf cart.

I too grew up in one of those 'non-empty' houses. My parents, brothers and myself always had something on the go. When I was 12 or so, I had to shimmy around a table full of mechanical cash registers and adding machines to get to my bed, but I loved it.
