    You certainly have my best wishes and prayers. I had 
four stents put in about a month ago, they let me go the 
next morning. The ICU or CCU is because they must give you a 
strong anti-coagulent so they are worried about bleeding. Of 
course they also want to watch for blockages. My surgery 
went very well, took about four hours. I was wide awake the 
whole time and bored stiff. I think this surgery saved my 
life. I have now become essentially a vegaterian. My 
cardiologist suggested the books by Dean Ornish and I 
recommend them to you. Even my GP who is generally pretty 
conservative says you can reverse a lot of arterial damage.
