Thanks Jerry and Roy for sending me the teletype gear sheets, those are exactly what I needed. From what everyone has said I realize it's a stress to put these machines through the faster copy rates. Even running my 15 at 66wpm for 5 minutes caused it to whine at the last and I shut it down, removed the type unit and lubricated the whole thing. I think I would like to successfully change the gears to 75wpm, see it run and then change it back. I think knowing how switch the gears would be interesting (and I may actually have the fiber drive gears in my spares box), but it's definitely not something I am going to rush right out and do.
