Hello Joe,
The TS-2(x)/TG is the older "Model 14 like" test set that uses cams
and contacts to generate the FOX message among other things.
Normally they come with 60, 75, and 100 wpm gear sets and a manual, if
you are lucky.
The TS-2C was the last version. They are mounted in a chest made of
wood. They weigh about 85 pounds and usually smell funny.
Last use for the U.S. Army was during the Korean War. I have owned
all three versions at one time or another.
Right now I have a TS-2/TG the oldest version and all of the gears. I
also have the manual. I can scan it for you if you need one.
If you can find one, the XD-200 is smaller, lighter and also measures
distortion as well as sending test messages.
The TS-2(x)/TG is only a sender.
Best regards,
Don

Hi,
I was wondering about a Teletype test set made by Specialty
Electronics Development corp. It is tagged as the following:
"Test Set, Teletypewriter TS-2C/TG"
It will do foxes.
I am interested in this unit, and would like any info on the company
and the unit.
Thank you in advance,
Joe
