I've had pretty good luck using the various web-based software radios you can
find at websdr.org. There used to be one in holland that could pick up the
German weather service's narrow-shift 50 baud signal on 147 khz, and I copied
that one perfectly for a long time, however that SDR vanished from the 
internet, last I checked. There are lots of others, though. 

I don't think too much of the FSK on the air now is decodable as RTTY though,
outside of the ham bands.
